This earmold has a short canal, large bore with a large vent going into the bore. This removes 8 to 10 at 2-5 Khz. It reduces the high frequencies to a comfortable listening level.

The half bored earmold provides a very good high frequency emphasis, which performs best when the earmold is vented. It is suitable for high frequency hearing losses.
